Dear Editor,
Do you get tired of hearing the same old lies? Most people are weary of being a mental punching bag for intellectually dishonest, wealthy, windbags without a shred of humility. Excuse me, you may be in this group and may not recognize yourself so let us name one for you; Al Gore.
We hear constantly, “all scientist agree” that man is causing global warming. Children in school from K to 12 and beyond are indoctrinated with their parent’s guilt for living in the USA.
The temperature has gone up ever since the early 1800s. The following quote is not from a rabid fundamentalist or radical talk show host. It is from Reid Bryson the founding chairman of the Department of Meteorology at the University of Wisconsin: "Of course it's going up. It has gone up since the early 1800s, before the Industrial Revolution, because we're coming out of the Little Ice Age, not because we're putting more carbon dioxide into the air." He further said, “the temperature of the earth is increasing, but it's got nothing to do with what man is doing.” This man may know a little more about the temperature than even the genius that invented the Internet but managed to get lower scores than our current president at Yale.
Did you know that the polar ice caps are melting on MARS? Do you think our "carbon footprint" has anything to do with it. Possibly solar activity would seem to be connected.
Stop with the global warming lies. Next you are going to tell us Israel is picking on those poor Arabs and Iran is really just trying to help and the Easter Bunny has something to do with Resurrection Sunday.
Sincerely,
End letter
After rereading this letter to the editor I wanted to include these post scripts:
1. My local paper is the Press Democrat - an authentic liberal rag that has zero compunction for truth if that truth contradicts a “progressive” mantra.
2. I would never send a letter like this unless it was done using an alias of someone I did not like.
3. In a blog letter to the editor I can rant knowing liberal elite are too busy praising Chavez in Venezuela, hating George Bush, and adoring the simpletons who work out of Hollywood.
4. My true hope is for even liberals to come to know Christ. Making spiritual kindred out of them is much better than ridiculing them.
HTOITA hopefully
