FALSE PROPHETS

This picture has nothing to do with this blog. This is my youngest son. He lives in Kentucky and his future is still floating around in his mind. He is single and does not produce cute pictures of kids as my other kids do. He instead sends cute pictures of his new gun or footprints in the snow. On a rare occasion he send a nice one like this.

FALSE PROPHETS:

In the 1800 there was a plethora of spiritual activity from the dark side. The cults that blossomed and grew were many and weird:

• SDA = 1844
• LDS (Mormons) = 1830
• JfW = 1879
• Theosophy = 1875
• Christian Science = 1875
• Churches of Christ, Cambellite 1850s

The 1900s was not behind in Satanic activity:

• Worldwide Church of God = 1920s
• Oneness Pentecostalism = 1914
• Aryan Nations Church = 1984
• Branch Dividians = 1984
• Children of God = 1960s
• Scientology = 1950s
• Holy Order of MANS = 1968
• The Way, International = 1967
  

Even in this year, 2009, we have living false prophets:

• Arnold Murray = Antichrist would appear before 1981, war of Armageddon start in 1985
• Hal Lindsay = Rapture was coming in 1988
• Benny Hinn = Castro will die in the 90s, US queers will be destroyed in 1995, too many to list
• Pat Robertson = world would end in the fall of 1982
• Harold Camping = Lord's return would be in 1994, Lord's return will be in October, 20, 2011
  

There are reasons people follow false prophets. Some of them are uncomfortable and may make people mad. We will explore some of them in the future here.

If you need an abbreviation defined please ask in the comment section. Also the dates may be not exactly accurate but they are close.

By the way, before you get your knickers in a twist about the heretics listed above I stand with GOD's standard of prophecy.

Deuteronomy 18:22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.

It has to be 100% or none of the guys statements or doctrines are to be trusted.
