RE-DOC VERSES GUNS

This is a re-re-run. The reason is there is going to be a new assault by this evil administration upon decent law abiding gun owners. The last time I posted this I receive comments from shallow thinking liberals. People who do not know what the Bible says about gun-control should expose their minds to the truth more often. If the above comment has you scratching your head you need to find a sense of humor along with a life.

The following has been around for several years. A friend just sent it to me again and I thought a re-re-run would be appropriate. Friends (especially Brothers in Christ type of friends) make life better living.

Doctors vs. Gun Owners

Doctors

(A) The number of physicians in the U.S. is 700,000

(B) Accidental deaths caused by Physicians per year are 120,000

(C) Accidental deaths per physician is 0.171

(B) The number of accidental gun deaths per year, all age groups, is 1,500

FACT: NOT EVERYONE HAS A GUN, BUT almost everyone has at least one doctor. This means you are over 900 times more likely to be killed by a doctor than a gun owner

I withheld the statistics on lawyers for fear the shock would cause people to panic and seek medical attention

I had a doctor who asked, during a routine examination, "Do you have any guns in the house?" I asked him if he had any knives in his house. He was shocked and asked me why that was any of my business. I asked him why it was his business if I had any guns in the house. He said, "Having guns in the house is not as safe as not having guns." I shared with him the above statistics and he was always quiet with me after that. Entertainment is where you find it.
