Isaiah 54:17 - No weapon that
is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against
thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their
righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.
While many in many promises
Israel is the focus there are many that are manifest and come from the
magnificence of our LORD. I think this
is one of those.
There are some qualifications
from Scripture:
1.
The
servants must be covered in the righteousness of the LORD not their own.
2.
Another
law of God must be considered. "Be
not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he
also reap." - Galatians 6:7.
We as a country have sown shedding the blood of the innocent (over 55
million since 1973) and we have removed shame from sodomy and allowed it to
become the ruling elites mantra.
3.
Under
the same axiom we should expect judgment upon the USA.
4.
Thank
God this is not the end. We can also
examine two other passages:
1 John 1: 9 - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all
unrighteousness.
and
2 Chronicles 7:14 - If my people, which are called
by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from
their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin,
and will heal their land.
We
deserve judgment but who can tell if our repentance and strong resistance against
the ungodly will not cause repentance among the people and see a healing of our
country.
Or the
Lord could come today and settle the problem immediately. This is my preferred solution.
