GOD IS A CONSERVATIVE - Part 7

In the Liberal philosophy, God is a God of peace and guns are always violent therefore God is for gun control.
The Conservatives (who are deeper thinkers) say, “guns are only tools for defense, recreation, and food procurement. Criminals commit crimes and they are the problem not guns”.

I must admit I have to wonder if the liberal gun control platform was created by 3rd grade girls. Take the recent VA tech murders. Dozens were killed like helpless sheep. The libs are saying, “this is proof we need more gun control.” The thug who did this crime would have gotten a gun from somewhere. He would have used a shotgun, bomb, black-market hand grenade or something. Gun laws would not have prevented him from killing. A teacher or student with a gun would have though. Murder is already illegal. Why does the limp wristed left think he would have obeyed gun rules, he was planning on murder? Amazing.

But I digress. Sorry. The Bible does not mention guns. But swords were the guns of the day and the Bible does mention swords.

Lu 22:35-38 ...Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one... And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.

The apostles missed the boat on his teaching and misunderstood him until after his resurrection. They thought he was speaking of buying swords so they told him they had two with them. Jesus knew they were in the habit of traveling with swords. They walked through dangerous territory with visible swords to deter villains. Jesus could have turned a bandit into a pizza but chose to allow them to carry two swords for a reason.

That reason possibly is for us to see it is wise and healthy to be able to defend ourselves and also that having a visible deterrent deters bad guys. The opposite is happening in England and Australia and Canada where they have picked up guns and crime skyrocketed. Hitler picked up Jewish guns in the 1930's. That turned out well for the Jews, didn’t it?
GOD IS AGAINST THE GOVERNMENT TAKING AWAY OUR MEANS OF DEFENSE BECAUSE GOD IS A CONSERVATIVE.

GOD SAYS HOMOSEXUALITY IS A SIN.

About homosexual rights. Homosexuality is a sin and therefore should not be legalized. Homosexuals should have no more rights than any other citizen.

There are gay parades when they do not allow straight parades, schools having homosexual recruitment meetings while straight students are suspended if they complain, etc. This is wrong but probably we are not going to be able to stop it. When Jesus returns queer groups will not even be underground or in the closet because queers will be classed with other perverts.

In the Church Age we try to reach homosexuals for the LORD so they can get saved. We want them in Heaven with us as brethren. They are not to be abused (unless they molest kids then all bets are off), cheated, or hurt. They also should NEVER be hired as teachers. We lost that one but God will straighten them out later.
