whine

Please forgive my lack of input this last week. BUSY. I lost my youngest son to Kentucky. Hopefully he will find a good church there and get a good job. Become rich and pay for my trip out there to go hunting with him. In the mean time...

I have lost my sense of humor at the political situation. For forty years I have considered myself a republican. That has ended when the leader of my ex-party opted for the politically correct suicide of uniting with Mexico and leaving the borders open, allowing their trucks in without inspection, pursuing the Highway to Canada through the middle of the USA, and putting border guards in prison. Also for his handcuffing of the military in certain cases. He has also called Islam, the most evil religion on the planet, “a religion of peace”, and for his lack of direction of profiling at our ports. His chumming up with the murderous Senator Kennedy, and his lack of leadership in protecting the first amendment rights of Christians have caused me to flee the GOP. And he did not send me a birthday card. hmmmph.

Other than that he has done a good job.

Even so come quickly Lord Jesus

You are probably going to be surprized by my response, but I have to say I completely agree with your sentements right now. I haven't registered yet, and I'm not sure what God would have me do.

I know He isn't pleased with a nation in which the righteous people vote evil men into power because they are afraid of other, more evil and wicked men (or women, ahem.) That tosses out quite a few of the prospects. Liars, people who view death of people as a solution to problems, unrepentant adulterers, you know, I fear God; I will not support those folks. Yes, there may be fallout, but God's judgement on me personally, and on the country as a whole is worse than Hillary Clinton.

I think the border issue is a symptom of that moral weakness-because we love money, we put up with the abuse of innocent taxpayers, the abuse of the illegal aliens themselves, the abuse of thousands of victims of crimes committed by many of them, etc, etc. Can't say I support that one bit either.

But I CAN say that people can plot and plan and fume and fret, but God laughs at them-and I'm in His hands, serving Him, and couldn't be more glad of that fact with each revelation.

Shutting up now. Sorry, I know it's rude to write books in the blog comments, but I've been stewing over this one for a while.
