THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LIBS AND CONSERVATIVES

I do like diversity. In diversity is our strength. Of course this is not true in the military, a church, a family, or a community. Unity give strength. Cultural diversity may give flavor to the above mentioned groups but unity of faith, language, culture is necessary for real strength. A military unit may have members of each race but they have to have a common mission and language. A family may have (like mine) European, Korean, Mexican, and bald people but our common faith unites us. A church can (and should if possible) have everyone they can get but they must be united by a common love for the savior.

The following is something a friend sent and it is pretty accurate.

If you ever wondered what side of the fence you sit on, this is a great test! GUNS If a Conservative doesn't like guns, he doesn't buy one. If a Liberal doesn't like guns, he wants all guns outlawed. MEAT If a Conservative is a vegetarian, he doesn't eat meat.. If a Liberal is a vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned for everyone. QUEERDOM If a Conservative is homosexual, he quietly leads his life. If a Liberal is homosexual, he demands legislated respect. POVERTY If a Conservative is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation. A Liberal wonders who is going to take care of him. POLITICAL SENSITIVITY If a Conservative doesn't like a talk show host, he switches channels. Liberals demand that those they don't like be shut down. FAITH If a Conservative is a non-believer, he doesn't go to church. A Liberal non-believer wants any mention of God and religion silenced. (Unless it's a foreign religion, of course!) HEALTH-CARE If a Conservative decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or may choose a job that provides it. A Liberal demands that the rest of us pay for his.
